This cotton yarn has particularly long fibers, making the terry toweling wonderfully soft to the touch and visually uniform on the surface. The fibers are spun with slight twists and are therefore extremely absorbent. This yarn is also called sponge yarn internally because the cloths absorb moisture like a sponge.
